Does horror movies and/or violent video games really make kids aggressive?

I've watched my first horror movie at the age of 7 and played a zombie and violent video games. I never once disrepected my family nor done crazy, violent BS.

If that were true then wouldn't everyone of us be out there attacking people and acting my psychos out there? A couple of my relatives had the same story too and none become aggressive.

Is that claim true or was the person messed up from the get-go and playing violent games just activated their dormant switch?

Yes, it makes you more aggressive

As a kid, I already knew concepts of death, betrayal, infidelity, violence, etc and here I am... an average, normal person in college.

It doesn't I play like 6 / 8 hours a days video games on a regular days and I never became violent (as a child I played more 12 hours a days and I even skipped school to play and it never made me aggressive). I was actually the more calm person around.

Nope. I don’t play violent video games but my little brother does and he’s the most gentle person I know.
