Do I even need a strong phone case for my job?

I got a new phone, and I have one of those rubberish/plastic clear ones. I don't think it provides a lot of protection. I gave a cleaning job. I guess the most strenuous thing I do Is bend over to empty trashes. If I worked construction or something then I would get like an otterbox or something, but does it sound like I really need one in this situation?

Nah dawg, I wouldn't say you really NEED a super heavy duty case just for that cleaning job. As long as you ain't droppin your phone from tall heights or throwin it around all rough, you're probably straight with what you got.

I feel you on not wanting some huge bulky case if it ain't totally necessary neither. Those things make your phone way fatter and uglier than it needs to be sometimes. If all you're doing is bending over trash cans and basic cleaning shit, I can't imagine too much could go wrong.

Unless you're constantly worried you'll have an "oh shit" moment dumping a can or something and it flies out your hand. But honestly bro, even then a rubber case would probably suffice fine. Those clear soft ones provide a little grip and cushion at least.

I'd say don't stress too much unless you really start having close calls. Then maybe upgrade. But man honestly phones are sposed to be tough nowadays, you're probably gucci as is. Keep it simple! Save that otterbox money for some brews after work instead my dude.

To be honest, 99% of phone cases are useless props at best and only sold to "customise" the phone as you want.

What you probably have is a "bumper" case; which will help a little if your phone falls on an edge - but useless if it falls flat onto a point.

If you have a cleaning job, then you want more something that will keep your phone from water. To be honest, get a ziplock bag and stick your phone in it when at a job.

I have a Duopal. It is rugged and did not cost as much as an otter. It is yellow too so it stands out. I don't work construction either but sometimes I crawl around on the floor.
