Instagram reminds me of some refurbished Facebook that's marketed to the younger ones. TikTok just reminds me of Youtube shorts where women seem to love to post their losses and complain about why they suck and is backed by Chinese propaganda.
All that shit is gay and fake... people that love it are either fake or gay.

I have both but personally choose Instagram over TikTok. I just about never use TikTok, I only really go on it when friends share posts. Instagram has a nicer format to me and tends to have a nicer aura with photographic posts. It has it's share of issues of course, like an influx of new age AI generated photos which I hate, crazy memes, and posts where no one is explaining what the hell is going on in the video.
TikTok feels more ghetto to me, especially with the really ridiculous food trends and dumb challenges people start doing and end up in the hospital from it.
i dont think either of them are authentic because they both promote videos of influencers. for the most part, "normal" videos are never seen because most normal people dont have a lot of followers, and therefore are not promoted by the platform, therefore will never be seen by most users. a lot of people say that tiktok is more authentic, but i haven't noticed this. its just the latest trend. if you look at all the videos that are shown to you on your feed. 99% of them will be from accounts that have more than 1000 followers, basically silencing all "real" people
There is no social media platform that is authentic. Nobody likes to show the bad parts of their life. We mostly just show the good parts and sometimes we even edit the good parts to make us skinnier and have less acne etc.
How often do we see a celebrity that just has laid in bed with their period, eating some chocolate, with a pimple 😂 I personally have never seen something even resemble that on any social media platform.

Lmao neither
Any social media platform that contains influencers and advertisers is never going to be fully accurate to “real life” just by existing. If you want a “real” feed of anything on social media, then you need to curate your online experience to interacting only with those you perceive as genuine. You are responsible for your own algorithms in the sense that they’re almost entirely under your influence.i feel like instagram is just too polished and calculated, they make sure their feed looks color coded and aesthetic...
i like tiktok way more. real life people out in the world sharing their every day lives and stories through videos and not pictures to show how "perfect" their life is
Tiktok, I guess. Instagram is for perfect people taking images of their perfect lives. Thing is, you can photoshop and enhance an image so that it distorts reality but with actual recordings, you're forced to be a little more genuine.
But tiktok still grows its crop of liars and weirdos. I'd say that YouTube is the most authentic appBoth are full of attention seeking people half dressed that are on only fans that do cringy crap to get likes and compliments and most people that like and compliment these people are disgusting old men that are probably married and thinking they have a chance with a young girl doing a stupid dance on social media that are all full of fakery filters.
Neither of them. TikTok is a bad app full of both good but also very very bad stuff like beheadings, challenges and fake news. Instagram is a nice place for friends, but a bad place also for photoshopped pictures of models, making people insecure.
Neither one.
Social media is toxic and deceiving. It doesn't matter which platform it is. People use a variety of tools to "enhance" their content before posting so it looks completely different to the original.
It doesn't matter which app it is.
This is like asking which has a worse bite - a crocodile or an alligator. There may be a difference but not enough of one to matter. They both as fake and suck.
Neither. They’re both wildly detached from reality. And I know you’re gonna say, “well you have to choose one.” In this case, you can’t. The two are just so…false.
Lol.. really? Neither even remotely resembles real life.
I like Instagram but all social media is fake, no one is "real" on any platform.
Neither. I know one girl who is getting her own info on online... Almost none of it has been accurate. Like, her idea of Hamas not being terrorists... Even though that's the very definition of the name.
Instagram is a great tool for musicians and bands. I am not sure what use is TikTok.
Neither, you would be better off deleting both of them.
TikTok as people on there are not trying to be perfect and are authentic, at least those who I follow
Instagram. Cuz Instagram is kinda like youtube, but like youtube the only thing I found awful is the comment section. Tiktok *coughs* tiktoxic is full of cringe sjw, crappy stuff I've seen
Neither. However, Instagram is More with fake people.
Neither of those are reflections of real life for multiple reasons
Tik tok lol I use it the most and make some money off of it.
Gonna go with tiktok
Both are fake as many a porn star's chest.
