What is the coolest technology that we now have?

Twenty tears ago I thought the CD burner was the coolest thing to come out. They cost over a thousand dollars and the blank disks were 3 bucks apiece. The drives themselves were very slow and the process sometimes would crash and you would have to throw the disk away and get a new one. However, it gave rock bands the ability to burn their own CDs and sell them at concerts. You could save 650 MB of data or copy a music CD.

I think the coolest technology is the walobot. It can see wood and metal studs, all types of plumbing pipes, ductwork, and electrical wiring behind sheetrock, tile, marble and plywood. It saves me time and money when I have to cut into the wall.

I had to research this because I did not know what it was. I have a regular studfinder which seems to work good but this thing seems to be a lot more precise. Holding it with one hand and the cell phone with the other might be awkward however.

I got the special clip that goes on my phone and attached to the walabot. It makes it one hand operation. The stud finder only finds the screws in the studs. It won't find anything else. There were times that I used the stud finder, cut my hole and found pipes and duct work in my way. Not anymore

I remember the CD burner, and I still use them. I still think they are cool.

In my own personal life I think the old Mp3 player is still really cool. All the music and podcasts and audio books you can put one is amazing. I use mine all the time for stuff.

CD Burners were great! I remember my first time using a touchscreen. Touchscreens are a total gamechanger for me.

I think the coolest technology that we have currently is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I know it's been out for a while now, but I honestly don't think there's anything that tops that.
