Correction: you attempted to download a game, and got scammed. That is malware, do not install that, and delete the installer from your computer.

Some websites will hide that sort of bullcrap in an otherwise legitimate looking link, hoping people will think it's just to install the program they think they just downloaded.

Any number of things could happen, all bad. It's not worth finding out.

It will install invasive programs that will negatively affect your PC, and possibly steal your date. Once you install it, it will be very difficult to remove.

I don't know why. It just won't download. I get the download page and it says it is slow, and nothing happens at all. I tried another web browser and it wouldn't work there either. Clearly I can't download from that link. Sorry.

Have you ever used virtualbox?

What you can do is install virtualbox, and then set up a virtual machine on your system. Like install Windows 11 in it, and then install the program inside of that. Just to see what happens. If something bad happens, you can just remove the virtual machine. It's a good way to test things before trying it on my main system.
