Do you think people who still play Compact Discs need to get with the times and upgrade to Spotify or a service like it?

Fuck no!! Why should I pay someone else for stuff I already own? I still play my albums, 45's and 78's, too, as well as open reel tapes!! Besides, chances are those services don't have a lot of the stuff I'm looking for or want to listen to!! I'll happily stick with my collection of over 62,000 records, tapes and CD's.

If you are talking about getting with times regarding recorded music…….. the one and only format that made a huge comeback about ten years ago, VINYL!


It’s the most unique way to listen to audio music. Another major point is that if any recognised DJ could cart all the vinyl + Technics 1210’s/1200’s around, they would say yeah.

Depends. I have an older car with a CD player. On long drives, it's great to pop in a CD.

No, but I do recommend ripping your disks and switching to digital media. Preserves your disks and lets you carry more with you.

Hell, no. Spotify sucks! I’m a 90s baby and I grew up with Compact Discs and cassettes. I even recorded songs from the radio onto cassettes because there was no iTunes when I was growing up!
