What's a dry texter?

Just got a message from someone saying I'm a dry texter? Like wtf does that even mean?  And I am usually great at texting. I don't understand him.

i'm late, but I bring you the truth. He said that because he's going through a rough time, and feeling some depression. He's wanting you to say things that get him excited and thinking about life again because he's having trouble being excited right now on his own. That is the reason he said that. A normal "boring" everyday conversation just isn't getting him jumping for joy about another day in the rat race at the moment. No offense to you was meant. His comment was about him and his needs right now, so don't feel insulted or bad by it. You're welcome. :D

Dry texter means they don’t have much to say and , they don’t like texting much , they prefer to talk on the phone over texting. Which in most cases I am that way as well ,, if I text someone it’s short and right to the point , but if I want to talk and I have a lot to say , I hate texting , I rather just call instead of writing a book , also sometimes people read texts the wrong way and easily get confused or take things the wrong way , so I prefer talking on the phone over texting

They send only 1,2 or 3 words back, for example when you try to figure out what do in daily life. They just send something like
"not much"

They often avoid answering the question texting something back you didn't ask for

They show no interest in return when you show interest in them
*
They cannot keep a conversation going because there texts are mostly killing the conversation

I'm sorry for saying this girls but most of ya all are terrible texters! That's the main reason why guys are giving up on online dating because the majority of woman are such dry texters for real. It's a waste of time and effort to text you all

Call them and ask text sux for more than just a few words. If you are like me I just use as little words as possible and I hate loaded questions too it is so much easier just to have a quick conversation than texting back and forth and still not knowing exactly what is meant by the texts

I’ve never been called a “dry texter” but thinking about the term I would also assume that I’m one.

I would understand it as perhaps someone who generally sticks to the text subject , responds accurately , doesn’t offer much in the way of childish emoticon’s and would much rather have a face to face conversation like a normal human adult.

Or it could just mean that he feels he is not getting something by text that he believes he should
