Are the technologies in science fiction movies actually possible in real life?

Depends on the movie. Theoretically, all of them are possible (it’s fiction based in science, so that explanation is required for any sci-fi world you make) but the chances of seeing them in our lifetime are a different story. For example, FTL space travel, while mathematically possible, is not something we can practically do with our level of technology as it currently stands. We would need a much stronger power source, not to mention be wary of exactly how travel like this can affect organic life. We have to pressurize airplanes before take-off, and astronauts have to undergo rigorous training to be able to withstand the sheer power of lift-off alone. There’s a lot that’s very far off, but not impossible (but for now, it’s very much not possible).

Yes, most are actually made.

But they are either so complex, expensive, or niche that it's pointless to take them further than prototypes.

Well, yes, they are. I myself have a time machine, and my cat Allister is building a star-trek type transporter.

You may not know this, but cats originally invented this stuff and have used it for a long time now.
