How do I know what HDD Hard drive to buy?

That I know will fit the connector my computer has, because for some annoying reason all the hardrives for sale only have a picture of the top and never show the damn connector of the device so I don't know what's compatible and what isn't.

I did have an interest in this a few years ago, but it was an old computer that had been given to me. In the end I scrapped the computer, I didn't think it was financial viable.

I suggest taking your connector to a computer shop, hard drives aren't too expensive.

I can do everything on my mobile, I don't even have a printer now, because I hardly used it. I much prefer using public equipment if I need to.

I'd suggest taking your computer to a computer repair shop, much simpler and no worries for just a few pounds.
They might suggest a second hand computer at a cheap price. This is what I did, but they wouldn't dispose of my old computer, so I took my computer to a special tip area, and I've just using my mobile.

go to system information using the magnifying glass, just type it in.

Find your "baseboard product" which is the motherboard.

Google it and find out what's compatible with it. If you're using a laptop, chances are your using a m.2. If it's a PC, you can likely use an HDD, SDD, or a m.2.

Most computers won't have much compatibility issues.

Its one application that runs different scanners and cleaners on your cmd and cleans and kills any malware, junk and suspicious files I've left it up all night and I'm on stage 1 out of 3 right now, if this doesn't lower my disk usage then my disk is faulty, it's more than likely in the computer since most if not all have an internal hard drive lol

You only need a hard drive if you're buying for storage rather than speed.

I just want my computer to work, right now it's basically unbearable with speed and the only issue I see on the task manager is the disk, it's at 100% 24/7, even when it idles doing nothing

You'll want an SSD over a HDD and for the most part any size will work. Though it sounds like space may not solve the issue you're having.

If it's a modern computer (at least 15 years old or newer) it most likely uses SATA drives. But to be sure you can search the model of computer of computer you have to see what drives are compatible, then when searching for a HDD, you can read the description to see what kid of drive it is.

HHDs all have the SATA connector. SSDs are the ones with the different types of connectors.
