They’re calling it the first “flying car”, but i have serious doubts. They aren’t even talking about aerial range, and the demonstration shows nothing more than car-sized skateboard tricks. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not nothin’, but i think “flying car” is exceedingly generous. Honestly, he’s closer to the hoverboard here than to the flying Delorean. 😂😂
Regardless of my reservations, people are buying these things in advance of their 2028 scheduled production date. So they’re throwing tens of thousands of dollars at something that they probably won’t even see for the first time until 2029 or later. Some of us are buying groceries on layaway, and these people are dropping millions into wishing wells! Ell oh ell!
What do you think of Musk’s hopping car? If you had the money, would you preorder this machine? Or are you just waiting for someone you know to get one so that you can take it for a flip and a hop?

There's been flying cars before yet none have ever progressed beyond demos. Every car manufacturer globally could do it but they know its pointless.

Apart from hopping around private land where are you going to use it? No ones going to allow it to be road legal. Even if it is do you want someone hopping over you as you drive along?

Even the military hasn't bothered developed hopping vehicles. That tells you a lot.

I’ve seen those other “flying cars”. They flew, but they weren’t cars. They were more like personal drones. The most effective one basically just made parallel parking a cinch, for a quarter of a million dollars. 🤣🤣🤣
Now, many midline to top of the line vehicles have parking assistance.
I have a feeling that the people buying these vehicles from Elon are going to invest in building the world’s largest skate park. I expect that is the real reason they wanted Greenland. It’s going to be renamed Muskland and all of the millionaires and billionaires will vacation there to do dope tricks in their hovercars. Or, more likely, they will compete to hire the best stunt drivers to do tricks while they watch and brag about having the best car.

Knight Rider dreams of Elon. Nice show to pump up Tesla share but useless and it seems share markets have seen it the same way after Tesla share felt 15$ after.

Tesla for $15k and real 500km range would have a much higher impact, but no. Toxic Hydrazine fueled RCS boosters is the only pathetic display Tesla can offer.
