Have you ever gone to the submarine races? Did you like it?

I have a GAG friend who lives on the East coast. He said him and his lady enjoy going to the races. I'm not sure if he gambles every time or not, but I think sometimes they just enjoy watching the submarines race.

(I think this must be halftime or something. )
I really want to go, but my friend said it's not much fun going alone. So I'm going to try and find someone who would enjoy that sort of thing.

I never go to do this:( and we have an awsome river nearby, I so want to. I think I could win with either of those two in the last photo, definitely the one on the left. I think she could get the motor running on that sub! now that I think of this submarine analogy, kinda makes some sense... I don't think it should be a race, but a test drive!

My friend does this stuff... what the heck does go nuclear mean? I don't get it.

I don't know what the nuclear comment means. But this next photo tells me these two are complete amateurs at this. It's hard enough to see the subs from the front seat, so why in the hell would you try the trunk?

A few days ago, our Sextant Goddess posted a question, asking if we've ever seen "Firefall" in Yosemite National Park.

Being a 5 Xper (soon to be a 6 Xper) I didn't believe her that this was a real thing.

I swear to God, the next day, I saw it on the news! They said it's a phenomena that ONLY happens in February. I just can't believe the lengths some people will go to trick us viewers. I think she knows someone on the inside of the news organization. What does it mean?
