How do I stop being jealous of someone having something I want?

My aunt's been vacationing in Vietnam for 4 months now. She's literally 6 hours away from Japan and Korea by plane -- two countries I've always wanted to go to but have never had the chance. She could EASILY fly over there, and yet she's been in Vietnam and only Vietnam for 4 months straight. I want to travel to Japan and Korea, and I can't. My aunt is so close by and doesn't want to go.

My aunt has spent a majority of her life in Vietnam. She immigrated to the U. S. about 10 years ago. It's not like Vietnam is this brand new country she's never been to. Why not travel to somewhere new?

Maybe try to put yourself in her shoes and understand that your likes and dislikes are totally different and hence she doesn't have any interest in going there. In her point of view she just likes this a certain way
