Mine would be a luxurious but middle sized mahagony cabin with modern comforts on a mountainside with thick woods down below and preferably a lake close by. I love those environs.

If I won a billion dollar lottery I'd keep living where I'm at. It's nothing fancy but I don't need much. I'd do some remodeling. I'd make one room into an atrium with a lot of natural light and lots of plants. I'd also want a big aquarium in there. It would be a place to sit and read and chill. I'd remodel some other parts of the house and fully finish the basement. I'd hire a decorator since I totally suck at that kind of thing. I wouldn't move though.
I lived in a big log cabin in the mountains/forest before. There was no good way to make a living there, but if I was rich I wouldn't mind living there again. I don't want to move, but if I did move that's someplace I'd consider.
probably an earth ship type deal.

somewhat like the one showed in the picture but maybe a tad larger. also included would be a huge propery with some woodlands and a river. some huge solar panels and a giant vegetable garden for completely autark living.
these earth ships are made basically from trash and dirt. so if something breaks, just slap a hand full of dirt on it or get a few more used tires to fix a wall. plus you don't need any air condition, cause half the rooms are inside a hill/mountain side, so they are naturally cool.
this is very low in negative ecological impact but more importantly very cheaply and easily sustained indefinitely once built. don't need to hire some contractor every time something needs fixing. you just do everything yourself.
If I had such an opportunity and technology had advanced, I would not want to live anywhere in this world.
I'm tired of arrogant people...

Something in a place like Ireland
Yeah, I love the green rolling hills of Ireland myself.
