In London, the ghost of Henry VIII lurked around the Tower Of London and watched staff and tourists there.

In Boston Massachusetts, the ghost of Paul Revere not only sat at a table at an old tavern, but rode through the city on a horse shouting "The British are coming!" before eventually vanishing into thin air.

In Rome, people have seen the ghostly images of Roman soldiers and Nero himself.

The spirits of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette wandered through the streets of Paris and infiltrated a museum in the city.

You go to the Gettysburg battlefield and hear faint gunshots and men's screams, despite nobody being there but you.

There's an old hospital in Shrewsbury england bang in the town centre that's been converted into a shopping mall. It still feels like you need to be quiet and you're being watched. Even in the middle of tourist season, the corridors are mostly empty

There's a museum in my town I used to work at that I'm 100% sure was haunted. Some days there was more activity then others. I hated working alone in there, and I refused to go past the front desk, unless I had to piss.

And a couple summers ago, me and my dad were visiting an old fort in Wyoming, and there was one particular building that immediately gave me a bad vibe. And when I went upstairs, I could feel this dark energy there and that something didn't want me there, and if I stayed I was gonna get hurt. I brushed it off until I found a YouTube video online from an amateur ghost hunter who said he experienced the same dark presence in the same room, and I only found out later that it's haunted by an evil spirit and that the entire grounds are haunted. My rational brain is telling me, there's no such thing as ghosts, but the fact that I didn't know it was haunted when I went there, and someone else experienced the same thing, makes my experience all the more credible.

I know what I experienced in both museums, I'm just trying to comprehend how it's possible that ghosts actually exist.
