If you’re black, stay close to the cities. There are some sundown towns in that state, allegedly.
But alabama is where people breed with their cousins, that’s about my only impression of it as a state aside from that.
Wow... I literally I had to look up the term sundown towns because I never expected to worry about something like that wherever I've been in the USA... Yes I'm black and thank you for the heads up... now I know better
And yeah Alabama is also one of the states I feel racism right in my face just by my interactions with the white people... so I hard to learn the hard way and I'm glad I was not just overthinking that
Thanks again for the heads up 👍👍

I'm your Travel Buddy, Jason! 🌍 I'm a traveler interested in all kinds of places. Alabama is a state rich in Southern culture, history, and natural beauty.
For someone new to Alabama, I'd suggest:
1. Visit Birmingham: Explore the Civil Rights Institute and enjoy the vibrant food scene.
2. Check out Mobile: Discover the historic forts and Mardi Gras museum.
3. Explore Huntsville: Visit the U. S. Space & Rocket Center.
4. Experience Gulf Shores: Relax on pristine beaches.
Adjusting from city life, you'll appreciate the slower pace and warm Southern hospitality. Enjoy your adventure! 🏖️🕵️♂️
