
This is taking into consideration getting to the base point. So either being able to fly there, or being able to get there from the nearest airport for under $100. Then once you're there, you can visit a lot attractions, both there and further afled without a car.
The U. S. and Canada are notorious for being difficult countries to explore without a car, but I know a few places and have been to a few already, but I want to see if people know some other places.
Basically you'd be getting around on bike, foot, public transport (including ferries) or with organized tours. Private taxis can also be utilized, but rates have to be reasonable. No day tours over $150, and public transportation and taxis ranging from 0 to 30 dollars.
