Going on VACATION this Summer?

I'm leaving in a few days for a 3-week vacation. Taking a cruise around Europe.

I'll be off the grid for awhile, meaning you won't see me on GaG. I'll see y'all next month.

Are you taking a vacation this summer?

Sort of. I'm cutting back my business travel severely the rest of the summer. My pool is open and I'm trying to stay planted for the next 2 months. Nov through Jun I've spent about 16 weeks all over the planet. That's about 50% of my time. So my "vacation" is taking a break from travel. I'm just done with it for the moment.

I am buying a house this summer so not planning on any vacation. My wife and I went on a 9 day cruise in January, and she is returning to China for a 25 day visit in October. That's all of our travelling this year.

I went on a 3 day hiking trip a couple of weeks ago. I have a 4 day cruise coming up in a month. I'll probably get away for another hiking trip before the summer ends.
