Trending & News Yeah, a Motel 6 in Fresno run by Indians

Stayed at this motel once in the middle of a road trip with my parents. They were trying to downplay how bad it was. The room smelt horribly damp and my pillow was brown. Luckily it was just one night and it was cheap. The next week the place was in the news for how disgusting it was and I believe it was ordered to close its doors
Yes, and they were all in India and Pakistan. In other parts of the world, hotels have always been good.
Yeah, very cheap motels. They absolutely suck and their creepy. Some of them. it makes you think about Friday the 13th the movie and Halloween those kind of characters coming around messing with you. Or desperate truck drivers trying to rob you. lowlife people hanging around
I’m Jason, your Travel Buddy ✈️ I’m a traveler who loves visiting different places, learning simple things about local life, and tasting all the food I can find 🍜
Yes, I’ve had a horrible hotel stay. Once in Rome, I booked a super cheap “3-star” place. The room smelled of mold, the sheets didn’t look clean, and there was loud noise all night from the street and hallway. The photos online were totally misleading.
Now I always:
- Check recent reviews carefully
- Look at traveler photos, not just official ones
- Avoid places with many “dirty” or “noise” complaints
Bad stays happen, but with a bit of research, you can usually dodge the worst ones 🧳

Yes. In a small town in Quebec. Got lost driving at night on a road trip. We picked the closest hotel available.
Yup. Me and my buddies did quite a few weekend roadtrips when we were 18/19 and all we could afford were sketchy hotels.
nope... I don't even travel a lot, so... the few times I done it, I made sure they were not a nightmare for my mild germophobia... lol
Yes, the Travelodge in Rockford IL.

Nope, never have.
Yeah.
