My Injustice 2 Announcement Trailer Reaction: Mini DC Rants and Opinions Included

(Disclaimer: I do not claim to be an expert on the comic storyline but I do love DC comics. I did watch the gameplays and story on youtube, so if there is any inaccuracies it's either because I got the info wrong, i paraphrased it, or because I did not put every little detail. Also please do not bring any DC v Marvel childish posts into this, this is not a competition.)

I just watched the injustice 2 trailer. I did not play the first one but I know that the storyline involved an alternate universe.

I'm a big fan of batman and the flash in particular in this game.

In Injustice, the Joker drugged Superman with a drug mixed with kryptonite and scarecrow's toxin, causing him to accidentally kill his pregnant wife. Also, the joker nuked Metropolis. Superman killed the Joker by pushing his hand through his heart, which was not shown in the game but it is seen in the comics.

Some of the characters formed a regime called the One Earth Regime, led by Superman and his girlfriend Wonder Woman in the alternate universe.

They created a dictatorship to get rid of criminals.

Please keep in mind that I'm not listing it in a particular order.

Superman becomes a tyrant in the alternate universe. I'm totally jealous of anyone who has even had a chance to play a second of Injustice

Mini DC rant time: Why does DC have to pick on Shazam in the games and the movies? In the Flashpoint Paradox movie Wonder Woman kills Shazam in his original kid form! I already dislike Wonder Woman, now I dislike her even more because of that.

Yes Shazam is a child for those of you who don't know. The powers he has turns him into an adult superhero.

Then, Superman kills Shazam in Injustice when Shazam is almost just as powerful as Superman. Shazam could have taken him down.

By the way Flashpoint Paradox is an amazing movie, you should see it.

My reaction to the Injustice 2 announcement trailer: I thought it was awesome and I thought it was funny how some of my friends and classmates who watched it, were wondering why the superheroes were fighting each other.The way the Flash kicked Superman's butt was so cool, he was way faster than him and he should be faster than Superman to me.

The superheroes have armor in the game! And Supergirl is in it! I like how they introduced her in the trailer.

The narrator who referred to rising out of the pit could possibly be referencing the lazarus pit. I am hoping that I get to see Ras AL Ghul in this.

As a big DC and Marvel comic book fan, I think it's awesome. I currently have the first Injustice game on my PS4 and still greatly enjoy the story mode. With the new trailer of Injustice 2, not only it dislayed that Supergirl would be one of the new playable characters but so will Red Hood (He's Jason Todd, the 2nd Robin for Batman until he turned Anti-Hero), who's one of my most favorite Anti-Heroes. Red Hood is in the trailer too if you take a very good look at the very end of the trailer video.
