My Super Bowl 51 Projection

There are two firsts here:

It's my first MyTake and the first Super Bowl that I have been excited about in a few years.

I have not supported a team for the Super Bowl since the Ravens in Super Bowl 47. I'm excited that I can support a team this year:

My Super Bowl 51 Projection

Not only can I support Atlanta to win, but I think that they are going to win.

I might be totally wrong here and I expect to be criticized if I am. It's no secret that both teams have high powered offenses, with Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Devonta Freeman leading the charge for Atlanta, and the always stellar Tom Brady in the corner for New England, I think that this is going to be a high scoring game. Atlanta led the league, averaging 34.4 points per game, with New England averaging 28.4. Matt Ryan averages over 300 passing yards per game, with Brady clocking in at 275.

I think Atlanta comes away with the win here

because in my estimation, the game will come down to which team can make a few key defensive stops against the opposing offense. I think Atlanta, led by season sack leader Vic Beasley Jr., will make the key stops and allow Atlanta to win this game. Also, these two teams tied for the least amount of turnovers this past season, so if one defense can force a takeaway or two, that will change the tide of the game.

I expect you people to hold me to this if I'm wrong. Go Falcons!
