The treatment was clearly sexist. Do you remember McEnroe?
I remember he once got ejected from a game for that kind of behaviour, got penalties awarded against him and was fined many times.
Are you really "20"? He was way before your time...
Here is his opinion... as well as from Billie Jean King:

I'm sure McEnroe is staying on the right side of this one after saying that men were better tennis players and the controversy that cause.
Fabio Fognini was kicked out of the 2017 us open for hurling abuse at a female umpire, was that sexist of the umpire, if he was a woman would he not have been allowed to keep playing like Serena.
You haven't even read my take lol.
You may claim a double standard that when a woman is emotional she is called hysterical but a man when he is emotional is called outspoken but the opposite is true as if a man behaved the way Serena did he wouldn't have been called hysterical or outspoken instead he'd have been called aggressive and threatening and probably would have been escorted out by security. If anything she was sexist towards the umpire as she would never have claimed sexism if the umpire was a woman.

she's always controversial
This is how black women always act and you're right to hate them.
No, she lost because of her bad behavior
Her opponent was a woman too, and half black.
Damn, that's crazy awful.
No she lost because she was inferior.
