She was seated next to a crying baby - the airline put her in that seat...
And she threatened to get the flight attendant fired because of her seating arrangement!
(The woman also bragged how she worked for the governor Cuomo.)
No: It doesn't justify it. People hate overtly entitled individuals, or at least get annoyed by them. In this case, there is an element of corruption where someone is threatening to use their influence to harm someone for no good reason.
Personally, it doesn't bother me much because I used to be a dental assistant at a pediatric dental clinic and did have pediatric rotations at my dental school. I'm one if these future dentists who will be seeing a lot if pediatric patients of all ages.
Anyway, my point is, this is is one situation where the correct response to someone like Perez, "Deal with it!" or "Oh, suck it up!" Or just omit the word "up" from the past phrase. Any of these would do.
I once got seated next to a mother with a crying baby, and she tried to apologize to me, and I explained to her, "It's alright! We were once all crybabies. Unfortunately, some of us didn't stop being that." LOL
It's NEVER alright to belittle someone, especially if it isn't their fault. It is well within your right as a passenger to complain but if she didn't sit beside the baby, someone else would have to. Too many people think that pushing the issue onto someone else is an effective solution when it's not.
She was all talk until the flight attendant bit back and said she wanted the woman kicked off the plane, and then she was practically groveling and begging to be allowed to stay on the flight. She's a bully who didn't have the pull to back up her fat mouth and deserves the backlash she's getting. The baby wasn't even crying in the video. It's ridiculous.
Rude. It's fine to request a seat change if you'd like but to get up and start yelling about it is causing a disruption. To then be rude to the flight attendants and basically threaten them is ridiculous. I'd say it's fine they wanted to remove her from the plane, I'd want to as well :P
She was super arrogant! Your seating arrangement is not the flight attendant’s fault. Just suck it up and deal with it.
She got kicked off and she’s been suspended from her job. Rightfully so.

Can't always be lucky with seating arrangements, doesn't give you the right to be an asshole though, suck it up and be polite
Its a given babies cry and they go on planes... she cried too. I think it’s appaling behavior.
a rude unjustified power move which failed due to her lack of power
A quick jab to the throat would shut em up... the lady I mean...
sounds like a stupid retard to me.
its not only her, but a lot of people face that situation while traveling in planes, and yes they do get annoyed a lot, but they dont cry and nag like her
Rude asshole. There is a limited amount of space on a plane so someone has to take that seat, it's not the flight attendants fault.
If she really had that important of a job, she wouldn't be seated where she was so I would have kicked her off the plane.
Did she get kicked off the flight? Because I wouldn’t tolerate that.
She sounds like an entitled moron. You can't always get the best seats on an airplane and she's lucky she wasn't kicked off the flight if she was not.
I don’t think it’s a good idea cause flight attendant control your comfort.
very rude and power hungry
Arrogance.
The woman was rude.
