They are protesting because quality of life is going down and they are forced to do over hours unpaid.

Do you have ANY idea what they are protesting or just think it funny they look like a clown? The clown makeup represents the pathetic French government. A government as worthless as pond scum, as slimy as shit on the bottom of a shoe.

This protest is what many N American firemen should be doing in certain cities thanks to trashy governments cutting their resources, pay, etc. (exactly what the French government has done, endangered its emergency services by their scummy behaviors) but right now they are too spineless to.

Apparently, they are revolting against the government for cutting off funds to them. They were cut resources needed to be useful and their pay was cut low enough to not even give a shit anymore.
