@NotAggainn people are not "fighting for fair treatment". they are antagonizing a white majority, appealing to "white guilt", not being accountable for their own actions and instead looking for "systemic" oppression where there is none. the only people that can fix the issues of black people are black people, cause the issues are caused by themselves. they're trying to hold white people accountable for their misery, when it's self-inflicted.
of course on the surface level, you see black people performing less well in the economic system and being way more prone for criminal activity, unemployment and single motherhood. however those aren't caused by "male white suppressors". black lifes don't matter. just like white lifes don't matter
what matters is what every individual makes out of their life and it has never been easier than now for black people to break the mold and go to university, get educated and change te stereotype, cause black people actually have the "privilege" of minotrity support funding, which is unfair for white people but it tries to correct what they are failing to correct.

@NotAggainn white guilt exists because people don't understand "accountability". if a black person gets brutally murdered by a racist policeman, that is horrible. but just cause the policeman was white that doesn't make me as a white person somehow guilty and the reason some feel guilty about that is cause they're wrong about "how guilt and accountability works".

the habitus is something that can be relatively stable over generations and it's incredibly hard to strip off your habitus.
i mean i can make that example with you. how likely are you to completely change your way of conducting yourself away from how you learned it from friends, family and peers? that is the issue. it's hard and unlikely. it's not cause you're "coerced" to behave how you behave by some "race" or some suppressor. the enforcer of how you conduct yourself is: yourself.

the fix is not to demand money from "those who have it better". the fix is to get better yourself. and the longer you fight this accountability and push it away, the longer the struggle will last.
and by the way the reparations the jews were paid can never fix what was done. the jewish people are hard in character and have very good habits that makes them succeed no matter how hard they are pushed down on.
that's something the black community has to adopt. cause you don't get better with handouts. you get better by fighting for what you have, even if it's harder for you.
of course i am no opponent of looking for actual structural inequality and i do support programmes like minority funding for education and such, if that shows to reduce the problem.

i am right now working on my masters degree in social science where i exctly try to figure out such problems and find what works to fix them... so if you think you know better, let me hear it and stop your unconstructive insults. give me some real critique and show me your own "oh so smart" ideas...

@NotAggainn i keep comparing 2 minorities that face social inequality, though one is extremely successful and the other is relativel unsuccessfull compared to the majority. so you have to look at the difference. being a minority with a history of suppression appears not to be a predictor of success or failure. it seems to be more how the individual conducts him/her self.
jews were never free in history. specially not in medieval christian Europe. they were suppressed and even forbidden to learn christian craftsmanship in most parts of Europe and they were still very successfull despite this very extreme historical oppression.
that is even expressed in average iq of jews being slightly above most caucasians, while black americans seem to score slightly slower.
so since "being a jew" is not "a race", that hints towards it both being results of habitual developments, so it's the habitual development that needs to change in those black subcultures, not the entire society.
i'm not being racist. i say they have to try harder than normal people. which sucks. but we're already doing as much as possible to support that. because doing more would be unfair to other groups of people.

Ethnic minorities and religious minorities shouldn’t be compared. You can’t look at a person and see their Jewish but you can look at a person and immediately tell their black. This lends to much worse treatment to black people. Also much more of America is severely racist than severely antisematic

Jews in Europe for hundreds of years were forced to live in ghettos and were deliberately held back but despite it they were able to succeed because of their hard work and focus on education, even though educational institutions were closed to them it was done through synagogues. There was no welfare, reparations or handouts so they had to work hard to succeed. When restrictions on jews started to be lifted in the 19th & 20th century the Jews thrived and the lessons learned while being held back and persecuted is what made them succeed and climb disappropritionatly higher than most other groups in Europe and the Americas of course that bred resentment in the 20th century. The Jews never got reparations except the return of stolen property by the nazis
Also African slavery was like any slavery, they came to your village or city and took you by force, either to work you or sell you to arabs or Europeans. An Atlantic crossing was easier than a death march to the slave markets of Cairo. African slavery is the oldest in the world and still continues today.
@NotAggainn those things are comparable, cause social spheres are consistent with confession, ethnicity and sometimes areas of living. Habitual development takes place within those social spheres and that's how those problems arise.
