It’s a movement that began on TikTok and they’ve even made their own flag, and claim to be apart of the lgbtq community?

I think that it's dishonest to pretend that it's anything other than disguised transphobia.
First of all, sexuality is defined by what you are attracted to. Not by what you're not attracted to. You can't see a person's chromosomes, therefore they play no role in sexuality. There are plenty of reasons to not want to date a trans person. Maybe they haven't had surgeries yet, and that would be a problem for you sexually. Or maybe it's really important to you to have biological kids. Every trans person I'm aware of thinks that those are completely valid reasons not to date someone. But that doesn't make it a sexuality. If it did then my sexuality would be funny people with nice hair who want lots of kids, give good hugs, appreciate the arts, and agree with me politically. That's not a sexuality.
Second, the person who created the "movement" literally said in the video that "that's not a real woman to me." In other words, he doesn't think that trans women are women. It's textbook transphobia. He outed himself as being transphobic in the exact same video where he's claiming not to be transphobic.
Third, on tiktok they claim to just want acceptance, but the person who created it literally has a reddit page where he sends people to attack trans women online.
They're just a bunch of dudes who are transphobic enough to think that liking trans women somehow makes them gay. And they're homophobic enough that that scares them. So they overcompensate by attacking trans women, just to let everyone know that there's no way that they'd ever be attracted to them. Which is ridiculous. Because there are plenty of trans people who they would have no idea are trans.
The whole thing is meaningless and reactionary. It will be gone by the end of the year.
4chan propaganda that somehow made it mainstream again. Looks like a neo nazi dog whistle... ss?
Can i ask u if u dont mind.. are u primarily gay?
@Brownbored why do you care
Curiosity u know..
I think the idea of “super straight” is very legitimate, in the sense that it’s totally fine to be heterosexual and only interested in dating cisgender heterosexuals of the opposite sex. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, I’m one myself, with all respect to the trans community, but it’s just not for me, and that should be fine.
Where I have a problem with it is that it’s a majority group trying to denigrate the movements of minority groups who suffer any degree of oppression by copycatting their movement in mockery. Like “straight pride parade” and “white history month” bullshit... it’s not to say there’s anything wrong with being straight or being white, but it’s simply not a necessary thing to do and is obviously being done as a middle finger to the minority groups who actually need a movement and need to feel some pride while the majority society has given them shit all these years. If they actually suffered true discrimination and not manufactured discrimination, I’d be all for it. But they don’t, so it’s ridiculous and malevolent in nature.
It’s not a real movement. It’s just a response to the SJWs who say that straight men who won’t date trans-women are trans-phobic and evil. And that men who date someone who dresses like a woman but still has male genitalia is still definitely straight because of the person says they’re a woman, then those parts are actually female.
What’s funny to me is the LGBT folks then saying that we don’t need all of these new definitions confusing people. As if that’s not exactly what they do. That’s part of the joke, goes right over their heads.

I mean, personally I think I would really struggle to date a trans woman.
So I guess I qualify as "super straight".
I think it's a legitimate preference, and that trans activists who insist that no distinction must be made between trans women and other women, are. . . crazy and unpleasant.
That being said, I realize life as trans must often be very difficult, and if this group is set up to ridicule trans people, I'm no fan of that.
Yes the group is mostly as an anti trans community. I completely understand if you personally aren’t open to dating a trans women cause that’s completely fine however for this whole super straight thing it was purposely spread with the intent in dividing lgbtq people which was found on various deleted threads on toxic forums like 4chan and kiwi farms.
On top of that a lot of “super straight” people say it’s a preference which doesn’t make sense because they also want to push super straight as a new sexuality and for it to be a sexuality it wouldn’t be a preference it would just be a preference. That’s like a lesbian saying I only date girls, that’s my preference. Which doesn’t make sense because you only date girls so it isn’t a preference it’s a mandate and so that makes it a sexuality since it’s someone’s identity
I just find it ironic that the LGBTQ+ community is ok with "pansexual" but not super "super straight".
Since the existence of "pansexual" directly implies that one's gender identity IS a factor in attraction, otherwise the entire concept of "pansexual" would be redundant as "bisexual" would suffice.
But when there is a label which acknowledges *literally the same thing*, but excludes rather than includes on the basis of that distinction, THEN it's a problem.
Hmmm.
It had to come some day because now that the LQBT+ community gets so much attention people that aren´t into one of thost sexual orientation had to come up with something that´s not seperating them from the rest of society.
I´m not part of the movement but I understand the need for some people to clarify that they are only into biological women because not all people are into transpeople.
That is just straight.
Quit trying to make up all of these idiotic new terms.
Regardless, life is too short to get involved with those always straining to be offended by some new thing.
The uptight, offended by everything people are miserable and as boring as hell.
I think we should just people identify and fuck who they want as long as they're 18 and not causing anyone harm
Just let*
Free to so no🤷🏽♀️
thats soo stupid they are not part of the lgbtq community and never will be... some of the straights are weird asf
Doesn't bother me in the slightest as long as these groups that are made based on sexulity or gender don't start trying to claim some form of benefits or special treatment on account of their identity.
I think it's kinda funny.
People these days want to be labelled and all fit into some category so naturally it will get used against them at some point.
It will eventually become hypocritical to judge straight people for claiming to have their own group or white people for having white pride etc.
These things can all go both ways.
Sounds like attention seeking nonsense dreamt up by butt hurt right-wingers who feel left out.
It's dumb. You are either straight or you're not, and people who date trans people are not straight. Nothing against trans people, but a man who dates someone who was born a man is not straight. It's that simple.
Good for them. The lgbtq community can no longer discriminate based on a person's sexuality or gender.
I don’t follow TickTock straight it straight I’m a leader not a follower
Have got to say it is different than the rest of the bullshit going around. LOL
It is as wrong as gays not being open to having sex with the opposite gender.
Lol it's dumb
Almost as cringe as tiktok
Nonsense. That’s just straight
I guess I'm super straight, then.
They are men.
No. "Bottom" surgery is just an inverted penis, it's not a vagina.
So in other words just being straight.
Pretty dumb to have to advertise it.
It's fine.
I support it. I’m super straight.
Too many labels
It’s odd.
Hateful bullshit.
