Exxon makes billions of dollars and pays a trickle of that. They still haven't paid civil damages for the Valdez spill, and never will.

You make the VERY false assumption that businesses are always looking to expand JUST because there's cheap capital available. It's not true at all. Businesses seek tax haven states, and they use their power and size to get the deals they want.

You actually think that creating entry level jobs that people have to take because they don't make enough from ONE job to pay their bills, stimulates the economy? Sorry, but what you get is a mild spike in spending and no sustainable growth, because they're still catching up on past debt.
