Yeah, her comments about the Holocaust were definitely horrible. The Holocaust was about the Nazi’s systematic annihilation of the Jewish people, who they deemed to be an inferior race. They used that racist propaganda to justify killing millions of Jews. Racism was definitely central to the Nazi ideology. The Jews weren’t defined by religion, but by race! Whoopi Goldberg needs to go take a class about the Holocaust and educate herself.

It's just as bad either way, but Hitler didn't view Jews as the same race as he. He viewed Slavs as subhuman even, and he hated Jews more than he hated Slavs, so just imagine his opinion on Jews. Even if someone only had one Jewish grandparent they were tainted and "non aryan" to him, so his genocide was indeed racist.
