There are not 87,000 armed agents coming. The agency has not even specified how much of the budget increase will go to staffing other than to say part of it will address the 50,000 employees who are scheduled to retire over the next 5 years. Only a small fraction of IRS personnel are armed agents. There could conceivably be a modest increase in staffing over the next few years but no army is coming. Disregard the right wing hysteria. Every day there is something new that Trumpers are afraid of.
