Liz Cheney said she is considering running against Trump, why do politicians that get destroyed in a congressional primary still think they can win?

She got destroyed in Republican Primary and now is thinking of running for President. Only a fool or crazy person would think they could win a national election after being destroyed in her home state. Who will give her money? She must think her poop smells like perfume. Maybe she thinks Democrats will cross over to vote for her in primaries , but there will be 30 Democrats running in their primary. You can't vote for them if you vote for her. I have the solution for her. Become a Democrat and run as a Democrat. She won;t win there either. When you only get 30% of the vote in your state , you need to retire.

I don’t know. I think she might syphon off some of the more moderate right wing voters that would otherwise vote for Trump.
