Has everyone who plays TTRPG been keeping up with the WotC horrendous OGL2.0?

In recent news employees from Wizards of the Coast leaked info on what is really going on and... ooooh boy is it corruption in the hire ups thinking TTRPG players are dumb livestock just giving them money. They still plan on releasing the ogl1.1 that we read which has so much illegality & corrupt business practices, but 2.0 is just the same thing but you get a 6 month grace period before fucking you over. The higher ups in WotC think all this rage is just a phase and will be forgotten about soon and then they will release their new ogl.

If they had, this wouldn't be an issue; the fanbase would simply walk away from D&D and never look back. The sad and sorry truth is that most of humanity is herd animals, not pack animals, and they'll simply go along with whatever's popular.

Wizards never had the market power to pull something like this off; hell, TSR, even at its height, never had that kind of power. But too many people have too much learned helplessness to do anything about it. Now, nerds are more resistant to that kind of nonsense, and in particular the older ones, who made D&D popular in its various resurgences- but those are the people Wizards has been driving away for years, with its "orcs are representative of black people, and thus racist!" rhetoric. THOSE people are already playing Pathfinder, or some other system.
