It really is though: companies go broke unless they gat a good ESG score, at which point... they go broke. Governments around the world are using commerce as the hammer with which they nail down everything it is illegal or they dont have the votes to accomplish legislatively. This gives them plausible deniability and insulation from the inevitable chaos it causes. I hope DeSantis RICO statutes the fuck out of them in 2024.
