Iran is just unreasonable, iran even fired at ships again. "At least two container ships were hit by gunfire in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday (now), according to United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations".

No. Iran has being planning for war with the USA for decades. The plan isn't to beat the USA in open combat, and they know they'll get bombed a lot. By taking the hits and not yielding they hope to make America look weak as it runs up a huge military bill without gaining anything.
