Why would he delete my post on his Facebook wall?

I feel stupid analyzing this but the only reason I can think of someone doing that is because they don't want someone else to see it, right?

My friend (formally with benefits but now he has a girlfriend) did this to me the other day and I can't understand why. My post didn't say anything bad but it referred to something that we'd done the previous night. Maybe he didn't want his girlfriend to know that he had been with me that night but I don't see why it matters, we're just friends.

Is there any other explanations you can think of?

I only just checked my email today and he had actually replied to the wall post before deleting it. Guess it was just about someone else seeing it then.
