If you have a boyfriend do you find it ok to be touchy feely with one or more of your guy friends?

Like holding you. Poking you. Tickling you.

Can you tell the difference between a guy friend who truly is platonic and a guy friend who is actually crushing on you and wants to be more?

If you were able to tell that one of your guy friends secretly really wants to be your boyfriend would that change your relationship of him?

Update: Ok so me and my girlfriend were out one night and she introduced me to one of her guy friends from high school. The kid was a real prick. I tried to be friendly and tell him a funny story but he looked at my girlfriend and told her I was "full of myself    6 months ago

Update: So anyway I figured he wasn't getting my humor. So I told him a serious story and he didn't even look at me when I was talking to him. He kept his eyes locked on my girlfriend. I eventually said the hell with it and went to go talk to someone else.    6 months ago

Update: (I figured the kid was just rude) I was talking to a few other people across the bar having a good time when I notice him holding my girlfriend from behind. She was on a stool and he had his chest right up against her back and his hand on her waist.    6 months ago

Update: He was talking to her. I assumed at first he was just kind of grabbing her and talking to her like a friend but I continued to watch. I watched for about 3-5 minutes and he still had his hand on her waist and was pressed up against her.    6 months ago

Update: (at this point I was getting pissed) I was thinking. Who does this kid think he is? Eventually my girlfriend had gotten up and started walking away. He knew I was with her. He told her I was full of myself. He ignored me. And now this?    6 months ago

Update: My girlfriend later told me that he was just a friend. She said he was like a brother to her and she never hooked up with him. She said they went to senior prom together.    6 months ago

Update: I believe my girlfriend is only friends with him, but why didn't she find it weird that he was standing like that holding her? Why did she continue to let it go on for so long in front of me? Does she like the attention?    6 months ago

Update: Do you think she can't tell that the kid likes her like that? I find it messed because I try hard to trust her. But, if she allows these types of actions to go on when I am around, then what type of actions does she allow when I'm not around?    6 months ago

Update: How would you want your boyfriend to handle this situation?

Do you think these sorts of actions create trust issues?    6 months ago

Wow that's a hard one. I've been in this situation a lot. If I found out a guy friend liked me and he knew that I liked him back the I'd kinda hope he'd make a move. My guy friends and I poke and flirt a lot but I know that they are just friends. The guy friends who I'm pretty sure like me are the ones who wrap their arms around me on the trampoline to reach something and try to sit close.

My Best guy friend and Best girl friend are dating. However the guy still always tickles me and hugs me and all this other stuff. I like it b. C that's how our friendship has always been. I don't think his girlfriend likes it but I don't know.

I am not too touchy. (sometimes a lot). But its too the point of giving them hugs, jumping on them for fun and all the other crazy stuff girls can do to their guy friends!

If I had a boyfriend and got really touchy with my guy friends. I'd think it over because I know sometimes the boyfriend assumes certain things you don't want them to assume! So no, I wouldn't be too touchy. I'd still give my guy friends hugs and have them give me piggy back rides lol but nothing to the point where its getting out of hand.

Sometimes I think I can tell when my guy friend may like me. But mostly I am just clueless. They are all like my brothers and I personally wouldn't wanna think of them anything more then just friends. But that only goes for the guys I have known for a loongg time.

If I knew my guy friend realllyy really liked me. I'd proably see how long I have known him. If he's like my buddy buddy from a decade ago. I would never change the relationship. If he was someone I said hi to during a class and we hung out and became friends for sometime and had a thing. Then y not.

But overall. Guy friends should just stay guy friends (for the sake of making things not awkward).

I used to be touchy feely but recently I was talking to one of my boyfriend's friends and I noticed he was hard. I'm trying not to do it anymore.

I was never any good at telling when guys liked me. I've had a few friends confess that they loved me and I was always surprised.
