I met this girl a little over a month ago and I've been seeing her. She broke up with her boyfriend about 3 months ago now. So I've been taking it slow. And her ex seems to be very persistent in trying to get her back but she's not buying it. I had a talk with her about where were at. I told her that I like her and would like to continue to see her and she said the same thing back. But she also told me she's not looking for a relationship or send me mixed messages. She said that she's not ready for that right now and I can understand and that's why I am not pushing her into one.. She also said since she is single she would like to date around. This girl is really cool and I would like to continue to see her and hopefully it will turn into something. But at the same time I have my doubts. From this little story what do you think is happening. I would like all your perspectives on this situation.
If I was in your shoe and someone told me that they would like to date around even after I told them I like them I would take it that that person might not be as interested. There was this one guy I had a crush on for a longgg time. He had a girlfriend of 4 years but they broke up. I told him I like him etc, he told me he liked me too. I figured either he just wants to mess around with other females than to stick with one after he had just got out of a relationship. After I knew that's what he wanted I knew it was pointless and a waste of time to wait for someone that isn't as interested as you are. Anyways, my point I would drop it because doesn't really sound like she's that interested sorry to say that. I could be wrong tho. I'm just saying that's what it seems like to me.
