Question

There is a guy that I have the hots for and he has for me.

He has a girlfriend that he cares about a lot.

I had a dream about him last night, really fun dream ;)

If I would text him: "I had a fun dream about you last night" how do you think he would react? Would I push him further away from me or would he be more interested in me?

p.s. I want him so bad!

Morally, no. Because he has a girlfriend. Do you want to be the one to cause problems in someone else's relationship? If you had this guy, just supposing, you wouldn't want some other girls sending him naughty texts right?

Frankly I'm not a saint, I'm too curious to be one, so if I were you, I might be tempted to text him regardless. But obviously the girlfriend's feelings are important and potential you could hurt her and their relationship. Don't know if its worth it. Might get complicated and boring. Besides, you might end up feeling quite bad about the whole thing.

But you have the hots for him! And you want him. Bad enough to ask us this question.

So if you did send him the text then it would be interesting to see how he responds. Post an update here. I'm really interested to see what he texts back.

A text is as far as you should take it of course. Don't follow on to doing anything with this guy if he's with someone else. As you say someone he cares about .

As far as pushing him further away. Lady, he has a girlfriend. He is technically not in the same playing field as you. He shouldn't be anyway. (Unless his girlfriend doesn't mind...)

I'm really in love with my boyfriend and would be kinda sad if he was sending naughty texts to other women. but then again...if a guy I fancied sent me naughty texts, I'd probably be quite happy about that.

Human nature- it's weird like that.

If you want a sex-only deal that ends with you being crushed and him staying with his girlfriend, send the text. If you actually want a full relationship with him, well that won't do it.

Relationships are about emotional connection and attachment, not about sex and lust. When you say you have the hots for him, well you are unlikely to mean you just want some sex with him and nothing more. You probably imagine him thinking you are so hot that he leaves his girlfriend and you become his girlfriend. Guess what, when a guy has the hots for you, that is exactly where it can stop for him. He can just want sex and nothing more. Happens all the time.

And, the irony is, if you pursue him, knowing he has a girlfriend, you immediately put yourself in the category of NOT being girlfriend material. Guys never imagine that the girl they would open their hearts up to (not easy for a guy) and fall in love with is a girl who would sexually pursue a guy who is in a relationship.

and if he doesn't react the way you want, laugh it off and sayy " so sorryy I didn't mean it that way haha"...

he'll think its funny and you might get a window for some good friendly conversationn x

What I would do if I were you is to send the txt.  As a guy, that would be great to hear.  If he likes it, he will respond with something like "Oh really" or "What kind of 'fun' dream?".  He will want you to explain more about the 'fun' dream.  If he responds differently, then say you  are sorry and you were drunk, or accidentally sent it to the wrong person.  This way you at least are safe, and you now know his position towards you.  If he does not respond (likely if he doesn't feel that way towards you), then send him one the next day saying that your sorry, but you were drunk txting.  Atleast then you are off the hook, and can at least keep him as a friend.

He would definitely think about you in a sexual way. I don't think he cares about his Girlfriend so much if he's doing things on the side with you. He would be definitely interested in having sex with you, but it won't nessacerily make him leave his Girlfriend or if he does leave that won't nessacerily mean that he would want a relationship with you. If he gets that text though, he will definitely be tempted into a FWB if he's not already thinking about it. Hope that's what you were looking for.

He has a girlfriend. Flirty texts are nice but it depends where you want things to go with him. If you are prepared to be 'other girl' then go ahead but the flirting is encouraging him to cheat on his girlfriend with you and that's a messy situation.
