Why can't I get a boyfriend

Question

I know this is kinda long but please bear with me!

so lately things have been annoying. not everything but this one things in particular like. I have this friend, we had been friends for awhile she and her sister are absolutely gorgeous they're both tall and really skinny, vs me who is tall but I'm bigger compared to them ( I'm not chubby or fat) I just have more curves compared to them. but lately we have been hanging around a lot and they are always saying how beautiful I am and how I should get a boyfriend. but what the hell people have always said I was pretty and what not but the real question why can't I get a boyfriend, I'm not mean, I'm actually quite nice. I don't give off a bad vibe but what gives is the area I'm in? or just boys being well boys? please help me understand!

Not to sound offensive, and this might, so let me get it out, then explain what I mean.

There could be a million reasons.

Not that there's a million reasons any guy wouldn't want YOU, but a million reasons why you might not be getting the dates you want.

These reasons range from the stupid to perhaps something making sense. Unfortunately, not knowing you makes any reason somewhat hard to pinpoint.

I think unfortunately a lot of it has to do with how you're perceived more than how you actually are.

Okay, I recently started dating my first real girlfriend, it's going great, but none of my friends have a girlfriend, and I would never tell them, you should get a girlfriend, it is not like picking a cereal or choosing a card, it has to be a connection between two people.

What I would do is hang out with these two girls they probably know a lot of people, maybe a party or two, you'll find someone!

Do you flirt? You sometimes really have to hit guys over the head and drag them to your cave like in the old days in order to let them know how you feel. It sucks right now because the area I'm in, pretty much all the decent guys are taken. No, really, ALL of them. SO it could be that, or you just haven't met the right guy (as much as that sounds cliche and boring and doesn't really help you at all, it really could be just that.)
