Pretty Cute Bus Boy??

Question

so I went out to dinner at a local restaurant with my mom and her boyfriend, and our bus boy was very verryy cute. and close to my age. when I walked by him on my way to the bathroom, we caught each others eyes for a quick second and we both smiled. and whenever he took our plates he'd glance over at me and smile a little. even my mom noticed, but I couldn't really do anything about it then with my mom and her boyfriend being there and everything.

i was thinking about going to the restaurant with my friend. and if I do, what should I do or say to get his attention? or number? I'm not afraid of being forward with guys, I just get very nervous if I have to do it in front of people, or even my friends.

Well that's good that you are forward, there is nothing wrong with a girl being forward and it's a fact that a lot of guys prefer the girl to ask them out because they are just as nervous as we are. So what I would do is next time (i'd wait about a week or so) go with your friend around the early afternoon (local restaurants tend to be less crowded in the afternoon so it gives you a chance to talk to him without him having to wait on another table) flirt with him and you should again be able to pick up hints that he's into you (just to verify that he still thinks your cute) then if he hasn't pull the moves in terms of giving you his number or him asking you for his number then you ask for it. Just make sure the friend is not near because sometimes guys see that as confrontation and they don't work well in those types of situations. You can say something like "well I know of a good movie that is out right if you want to check it out I'm free on so-so) or you can say "here's my number, put it too good use and call me sometime when your not too busy." (I used this line and sure enough the guy called me the next day) Just make sure your confident and have fun with it. Good luck!
