Do you guys like girls on a diet?!

Having been on a diet (before falling off) I've got to disagree with the guy here. Staying on a diet is HARD if you don't stick with it. What got me off my diet was taking a little "break" every now and then until the "breaks" became my full-time diet. And I got so much hassle from my friends over me not wanting to eat at places that had nothing healthy, like fast food joints. That kind of social pressure *also* helps kill a diet's discipline.

So, I'm going to come down on her side. It's her body, and she should be commended for trying to eat healthy. He's being a controlling jackass if he wants to dictate to her what she should and shouldn't eat in his presence. Like the fact that he took her there means that she should bend over backwards in graciousness to accept the wonderful magnanimity of his decision that she should eat fried fish or whatever.

The problem in that relationship is very much about communication and control. She wants to eat one type of food. He wants to eat another, and he feels threatened if she isn't joining him in his lifestyle choices (especially since hers are more sensible). That's just a mess waiting to happen, and I'll bet money that's not the only thing they fight over.

i like a girl whos confidant enough in herself to not be dieting 24/7. I mean if its jus a short thing then its fine, but to me girls who are way too concerned about their eating is a turn off. it makes them come out as insecure and really superficial. at least to me, I can't speak for all guys. A girl that can eat is what I like. (not stuffing her face but eating as much as me or a little bit less)
