I have a friend who is extremely fit. She's toned and everything...She's got a great bone mass and she's pretty tough. However, she thinks the fact that she's strong is a turn off for guys..because the guys MIGHT think she's one of those "butch" like chicks...which from what I know she is not! She's slim and toned! Not muscular as in a manly man.
So guys what do you think about a girl who lifts weights?

Look at the women of Professional Wrestling, then look at the guys reaction in the stands when they wrestle. They don't even think about their beer. Some of these girls are tough as nails and pretty as can be. They're knock outs in their our right, and in the ring. If your friend can pull it off, then roll w/ the punches. Look at girls who surf and run, they usually have some tone and definition to 'em. "So what? Now I got a work out partner, too huh. That's pretty cool" Thats how I would think. But she might want to try to do things like hints or suggestions where her boyfriend can pick up on to make some moves or if she does all the work he might start to question his own self esteem. So really she is controlling everything and her boyfriend will feel like he is making the moves and they all can compromise and be happy. If it were on that easy, lol. But yeah back to the point, roll with it I think, maybe try different styles, like maybe she just hasn't found one that changes (about the butch thing) her mind yet.
Like Nash said, all you gotta do is look at guys' reactions to the girls in professional wrestling like Beth Phoenix and Victoria. These girls are built like they could take their boyfriends and stuff them into a locker, but the guys in the crowd drool over them and whistle cat calls when they come into the ring. And you know what? I'm no different, and I'm not ashamed to say it.
Slim and toned is huge plus for many people. It means that she cares about her physical fitness and general health, which will pay off big-time when she ends up looking decades younger than her peers later in life.
Many girls seem to be afraid of lifting weights. However, it's much more difficult for women to build muscle mass than men. This means that it would take a great deal of conscious effort on her part to have the somewhat masculine figure of a professional female body builder. The fact that she's even thinking about it means that she's probably nowhere near looking "manly."

If she is toned and not muscular like those wrestling girls out there, then is not a big deal. As long as she doesn't have hands that start to look masculine, it doesn't matter for me. I see many girls at the gym doing light weights, and most of them look pretty damn sexy; their arms are toned, but not overly muscular. I'm yet to see one of those butch/muscle girls at the gym though... :)
Lol, not like butch/ muscle, I seen those, Who can bench press me, lol. I meant like Trish Stratus, she did maxim, and all those mags, lol I'm not trying to get bench pressed, lol. - More than a year ago
