lets say you're at some place and you see girl or guy that you..."admire". right, so you've been keeping your eye on this person for a while and want to talk to them or something. You notice that the person you admire is about to leave so would you do anything to try and talk to them, and if so what?

Are you talking about someone that you know? Or just some stranger that you are admiring across a room? I think I would probably do nothing since I am a chicken S3$$T! Sorry, I have become bitter with my social problems. If I were you I would go over there and say something or it will nag at you forever that you did nothing! I don't know exactly what you would say. Say anything! If you are in a sport store talk about sports, if you are in a library talk about a book (eg. ask her what type of book she recommends because you can never find one that you really enjoy). Other than that, I don't really know what I would say.

honestly I wouldn't and I would wait for another time where we could get to know each other instead of being rushed. But if I had to I would ask a question to get a small conversation going leave a compliment and my phone number.
