ok so I am recently divorced and back on the dating scene. so I have spent a few evening with this guy ( a guy I have know for a few years) and he is shy. I am use to loud and aggresive. well he finally kissed me but I'm still not sure what to think. does he actually like me and how can I find out if he does with out embarassing myself or looking desperate.

Since you're new be careful. Just in the last few years things have really changed. There are a lot more relationships that are more or less sex for money than there used to be.

Take it slow with most ANY guy would be my advice. If he's not loud and aggressive, gee that's probably a good thing!

Try spending time with him informally, hiking or that sort of thing where there's a lot of time together but no pressure. He's probably wondering the exact same thing about you.

A lot of unattached guys have had awful experiences with women and are pretty shy for THAT reason.
