Acne!

Question

hey girls and guys really doesn't matter, would a little bit of acne stop you from going out with a person. I would really like opinions!

If I let it bother me, I would be a hypocrite.  The only time it does bother me, is when a guy let's it get to him.  My ex and I had been invited out to my grandparents place for the weekend, but he said he didn't want to go because of ONE zit.  I was less than impressed.  It became an issue for us because he would always use an invisible zit as an excuse as to why we couldn't go out.  The only time it would bother me is if it bothered the guy I'm with.  I refuse to be hypocritical and judge someone based on having acne, but I also don't appreciate it hindering a relationship with that person.  If it bothers the guy, it'll bother me.

in all honesty

when you go out with someone

it should be because you like them for them

and you just want to spend time together

relationships shouldnt be based on appearences

i wouldn't turn down a date because of a little acne

No, that's no problem. Juss because there is something wrong with your face doesn't me there is something wrong with your personality. It is the inside that counts not the outside. If the girls doesn't want you  because your face then it wasnt ment to be

ive had acne not bad but I had it and its gone completely now so it doesn't last forever! I know we can cover it up with make up but guys can't but it definitely wouldn't make me not go for a guy if I like him acne isn't going to bother me.

Everyone gets some acne at some point; me, I usually break out whenever I'm really stressed. That said, something as simple as acne isn't going to stop me from dating a guy.

a guy having acne would in no way affect my decision to go out with them. In fact, when I have a crush on a guy I barely ever notice stuff like that unless they point it out.

Only if the acne appears to be a direct result from poor hygiene- which rarely is the case.  Most everyone I know gets breakouts at some time or another.  It's just a part of life.

Nope, is it weird that I'd prefer it? Then I'd feel less self conscious about my spots, because he's be more understanding of how I feel :)

personally, it would not bother me at all. everyone gets a little bit of acne. what matters most is what is on the inside, not the outside.
