And... go.
How do you classify obese?
And... go.
Someone who has a BMI above 30 who is not a body builder or extremely muscular is considered to be obese.
20-24.9 is healthy
25-29.9 is overweight
30-34.9 is obese
35 + is morbidly obese
Below 20 is underweight.
The BMI is a calculation based on your height and weight. For example, someone who is 5'3" and weighs 135lbs would have a BMI of 23.9.
Someone who looks like they could have a heart attack at any minute. I know that sounds mean but that's what I think. There's a difference between overweight and obese. Obese people have trouble walking and doing normal things and they look extremely unhealthy. More than 60-100 lbs. overweight
If a person looks at the health chart to find out if they are fat or not... its normally pointless because they are. Their just looking for comfort. Skinny girls do it for an ego boost. So obese to me is over weight and its easy to notice. Losing weight is easy, its just people don't wanna push that hard.

According to my BMI, I am considered obese. I am not rounder than a hoola hoop. I walk all over campus, and I only have trouble breathing if I run. I am out of shape. My BMI says so... I guess I am. I don't like that word tho. I prefer fat. I am certainly not "big boned." Just call me fat! (BMI= body mass index)
