So me and my ex had been dating for almost a year and a half when I told him I cheated on him three months into our relationship. He obviously broke up with me and now he's deciding if he wants to date me again or not, and I haven't seen him since the day he broke up with me which was like 2 weeks ago. To make things even better, the guy I cheated on him with is my best friends cousin. So my best friends grad party is this weekend, and my ex doesn't want me going because the guy I cheated on him with is gonna be there, and he doesn't trust me going and he doesn't wanna go because that would probably start a fight between him and the guy. So I don't know what to do. I either try and get my ex back by not going to my best friends grad party or go to my best friends grad party and lose my ex for good. But I don't want my best friend to be mad at me for not going to her grad party. what should I do?

now, you should talk to year boyfriend and let him know and understand that y cheated on him before and its not happening again. he can either come with you to the party and just tell year friend that you won't be staying for long because you dnt want year ex boyfriend starting a fight with her cousin in her party. I would go to the party and just spend and hour there and the go back home. and if your ex boyfriend doesn't trust you the he is the one missing out on you.because u've been honest and told him you cheated on him and now he need to give you a chance to prove its won't happen again.
