When is it too soon to give a girl a promise ring?

Then don't send mixed signals by calling it "a promise ring." That's what a promise ring *is* -- a *promise* to one day spend the rest of your life with her.

Just buy her "a ring," and make sure to make your intent clear. If you don't, then you may find yourself in one of those nasty relationships where the woman feels like she's being strung along and the man feels like she's trying to tie him down too soon.

A promise ring better to buy later on in the relationship. Such as if you both had been dating for 2 months or longer. I've noticed that most give a promise ring after being involved in a relationship for 6 months or so. I'm not saying you have to wait that long, but 4 weeks, is a bit of a scare for a girl.

in my opinion I think its to early for a promise ring. don't scare her away. I know that sounds but its true. I mean ya barely been going out, and you just never know. You should really feel it deep and ur heart to give her that promise ring. follow ur heart :)

Give her a ring, but don't call it a promise ring. Come up with something else. :-) Girls love rings. You can give it to her and tell her it is a ring that symbolizes your relationship or something, and that it isn't a promise ring or anything.

Too early for that its only been 4 weeks, if your stumped on getting her a gift for Christmas you can never go wrong with games, a board game not a video game, it's a good gift since you haven't been with her that long, she will like it and you can play it with her and she won't run away from it, it's what I would call a safe gift, and since its only been 4 weeks that would be your best bet, you can give her a promise ring like I don't know like 6 months into the relationship.
