    It means he worries about you. Whether he has a reason to or not is irrelivent, he's concerned for your safety, which is never a bad thing.

    Most of my male friends, esp those who watched after me like I was their little sister, would say that to me. Or if I was about to do something or involved with someone they weren't quite keen on..theyd end our convo telling me to be safe.
