If a girl wears an outfit that is a bit revealing, some may say it's sexy and others may say it's slutty. What exactly draws the line? How they act while wearing the outfit perhaps? Or is it how much skin is showing?
In my opinion its not the skin that shows, its definitely how one acts.
I have many female friends who dress "um light" but they don't throw their selves all over the first available guy who approaches them. I like to see a sexy dressed woman who has a girl next door attitude, its quite intriguing and mysterious.
Sexy is dressing to emphasize the beauty that is your body. You can be fully covered and still be sexy. Slutty is putting your body out there just for the attention.
Lets say you are really hungry you could
A. Go to McDonalds and get a Big Mac which is thrown together in like 1 minute. Its going to taste really good and it looks appetizing but the presentation is kind of sloppy. I mean you could even order off the dollar menu if you wanted too.
B. Go to a fancy french restaurant where you can get wine and a delicious meal that took awhile to prepare. The presentation is beautiful and makes your mouth water. The only bad thing is you are not getting a lot of food. Oh and your bill is going to be a hell of a lot more expensive!
THere's nothing wrong with dressing sexy. Its all in someone's interpretation! You can't control what people think! I would only think slutty, if you were coming on as promiscuous.
I think a lot of it is based on her face. If she looks kind of mean or bitchy, then she'll be viewed in a more negative light. If she has a sweet, kind face then it'll be a risque outfit that accentuates her figure. Certainly how she acts is a factor too.
Sexy IS being slutty, but for one person - whereas a slut, is usually a gold digging whore who just doesn't charge directly for her services at the time of each performance - IMO
This will depend a lot on the perspectives of the standards of the people judging, which has already been mentioned. I also think it depends on what is "appropriate" for a specific place/event and that this depends a lot on the girl's body type, and general style. I have a friend who has a rather skinny boyish figure (small breasts, narrow hips) and she occasionally wears these super low cut tops (like the middle of the V is below her little, spread out breasts). But somehow, she keeps her hair & other clothes simple, her manners classy, and since the pieces never look cheap, I find she manages to make it look classy and stylish and sexy. Some general comments: -I think heavier & curvier body types will look trashy faster than skinny & not very curvy types in the same outfits (fat popping out isn't sexy - it looks cheap, curvy is naturally starting off sexier). -Shorter girls seem to be able to get away with showing a higher percentage of skin than taller girls before it seems slutty - maybe cause there is so much more skin on taller girls. -Simple colours/styles/patterns generally look less cheap. Flashy unconventional colours/styles that try to hard to expose/bizarre patterns will look cheap more easily. -Some fabrics (clingy, cheap shine, etc) look cheap. -In general, I think it is easier to pull off one sexy piece at a time (say a tiny skirt) than multiple overly sexy pieces which will just look overdone and trashy. -Lastly, attitude & behaviour matter so much!
I would have to say that it depends on the person judging. A girl that is with a boyfriend will right away say oh my god what a slut, trying to give the girl a bad image to her boyfriend. Yet if it is 2 guys hanging out; they would obviously say she is sexy.
Also it can be the way a girl presents herself. Classy girls can almost wear nothing and make it look extremely classy. Yet trashy girls could wear everything but show skin in the wrong places and it make themselves have the image of : trashy.

I think guys would say sexy & girls would say slutty. A lot has to do with the hair, and of course body type. If two girls wear the same dress but have completely different bodies, it can look cute on one girl but plain slutty on the other

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
On a first date I would probably do something fun at first like bowling or putt putt golf or even go to a theme park. To break the ice a little bit. After that was all done and over with I would take the girl out to get ice cream and a walk to the park so we can talk and get to know each other a little better. When all was said and over with I would hope for a kiss rather a peck or a real one.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
I would like my date to know that I am laid back and a fun guy to be around..
