The habit gaining fervor as the solitude aspires to acquire a better portion in my life. I always end up writing something which had promiscuously become part of a living soul and then as sudden disappeared into oblivion.

Re-living the dream as one would have said, where I would contradict myself a number of times just to remember her the way she was last seen...

A fleeting glance at first, held me agape. My eyes failing to veer even for a moment, those were her looks; it had me frozen on the spot...a debate at its rage going on inside my head. A distant continuous thud evoking me out of consciousness "An uneven storyline gathering dust"...those were the thoughts.

My hands resting just below the heart, the rocking intense and the nervousness just pouring. I would have imagined this many a time in a wayward dream but seeing her in skin just waiting there for someone to come had me in jitters.

'Gorgeousness' would have been an understatement in her presence, beauty never seen before, the gentle movement of hands reminding me of the description of princess within the many fairy tales I had grown up reading. Her smile hmmm...as someone would say over in a flash, but its memory lasting over a lifetime.

Strangely enough, the time was at a standstill. The cold air piercing the uncovered body parts; the sting making me realize the time was there to throw myself into reality.

The innocence synonymous to the smile dripping from a face that could have floored many. Uncountable thoughts and actions racing in the head, I had to meet her as if that's the last task to do before I got hitchhiked to moments lost forever. My soul pestering me to forget everything in that instant and just move towards, being with a princess who has mistakenly set foot upon the parched earth.

And then with feet as if driven by heart, I opened my eyes and walked towards her...

A gentle introduction, over a span of few minutes left an intoxicated effect on me

I fall into a reverie while listening to an actual nightingale sing. The joy and pain felt, an ambivalent response. The expression of intense and numbed feelings.... Consider whether pleasure can be so intense that, paradoxically, it either numbs us or causes pain.

A close look reminded one of the Greek goddess of love, beauty and sexual rupture; the dazzling beauty - Aphrodite

Quoting William Shakespeare - "Eternity was in our lips and eyes, Bliss in our brows' bent; none our parts so poor, But was a race of heaven."

"What the eye does not admire, the heart does not desire."
~ Anonymous

The parting even though consummated by a handshake, left a desire to meet her again.

"I met her like a rose in an oasis and had the lingering thoughts of a Raven",

"Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!" I shrieked, up starting--
"Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken!--quit the bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!"
