How do you know when to break up with your boyfriend?

My boyfriend did some crazy things these past couple days. He wrote on a girl from high school's Facebook wall a month ago (same girl he was in love with all throughout high school who according to him treated him really poorly) and tweeted a live cam girl that he misses seeing her on cam (he watches or used to watch live couples on cam).

When I found out, he blocked the girl from high school and also deleted his cam account. He said that about 6 months ago, he felt guilty using it and told me he would stop soon after. The reason why I am mad is because he said he wouldn't talk to the girl from high school or go on the cam site but he did one month ago.

I found all of this out this past Thursday and my question is this: How do you know when to break up with your boyfriend? His behavior really hurt and offended me and when I think of him now, I am only angry. Those loving and affectionate feelings I have are buried deep inside me if they are even there anymore. We have gone out a year.

What should I do?

I think it's time for him to go when you realize you can go on living without him. Even if you cry for a few days that's normal. But if you think about it, and I mean seriously think about it...would you be OK again relatively quick? Would it be harder for you to deal with the problems or with the break up?

All in all I think it's time to break up when the pain becomes greater then the pleasure.

It would be easier for me to break up with him than deal with the issues we have... I already knew this relationship wasn't going to last in marriage like he thought so I am just breaking it off sooner I guess. It could have lasted if he didn't do those things

If your ready to see him date someone else, maybe that high school girl? if the answer is yes then break up with him but you still have love, you can always work things out, I know he didn things that hurt you but if the love still there by breaking up with him you might regret it.

Well, do you see yourself spending the rest of your life with someone who's does something he's told you he wasn't going to do; especially something that hurts you this much? If it's no, then it's time.

Honestly, if you're wondering if it's time, then it's probably time.

Every time I look at his face I see those couples that he watches right in his eyes. My feelings for him have changed.
